Charles Collectibles and Books have the pleasure of spotlighting an African American Traveling Museum. Since 2010, Fred Stafford has been the founder, curator, and driving force behind the True Black History Museum which has traveled to more than 40 states across the United States of America showcasing his Black History display. This traveling museum was created to highlight the rich contributions African Americans have made to our society pre and post-slavery. Wanting to dispel the myth of Black inferiority, the traveling exhibit is a living testament to the contributions that African Americans have made via agriculture, humanities, education, and more. You can see memorabilia from Booker T. Washington, President Barack Obama, and other trailblazing pioneers of yesterday and today. This is primarily done via exhibition displays at community centers, colleges and universities, churches, and other places looking to spotlight African American History. I first encountered Fred at a Detroit Area Church during a Kwanza Event more than 10 years ago as we both shared a passion for preserving our history with the blessings of our ancestors.
