Saturday, November 20, 2021 – Grand Rapids, Michigan Charles Collectibles and Books participated as an exhibitor in the Jack and Jill of America Youth Cluster Midwestern Regional Conference.

Established in 1938, Jack and Jill of America is one of the oldest social organizations for African American families providing cultural and social awareness to its members. Youth and their parents gathered in downtown Grand Rapids at the Historic Amway Grand Hotel for an exciting weekend of fellowship, bonding and cultural enrichment. This was the first live reunion of the organization’s members since the Covid Pandemic forced the 2020 Youth Cluster to a virtual format.

Members of Jack and Jill of America traveled from multiple states including Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, Wisconsin, Michigan, and Illinois. In addition to fellowship, members shopped and supported local and regional African American Businesses. Parents took time to support Charles Collectibles and Books during their holiday shopping and purchased books, shirts, jerseys and vintage holiday African American ornaments.
