Friday April 28th and Saturday 29th, 2023 – Charles Collectibles and Books LLC served as a partnering exhibitor for the 49th Annual Michigan School for Women’s Workers Conference at the Sommerset Inn Hotel and Conference Center in Troy, Michigan. CCandbooks has served as a partnering exhibitor at most of the University of Michigan Dearborn Labor Relations Series of Annual Labor Conferences for over 15 years. More than 250 delegates gathered in solidarity and union pride at the 49th Annual Michigan School for Women Workers Conference sponsored by the University of Michigan Dearborn Campus Labor Relations Department. Union members came as far as Texas to learn and fellowship with fellow union leaders in solidarity. CCandbooks has provided books and other educational resources highlighting the importance of union related books and educational resources for students of all ages.

Conference Directors and facilitators Tracey Dye and Ghana Goodwin-Dye have dedicated their lives to Labor Relations and come from a legacy of union workers fighting for employment rights, labor relations and fairness for over 20 years. During the year, the University of Michigan’s Labor Relations Department organizes and sponsors a series of joint conferences with the United Auto Workers to focus on fairness, solidarity and fellowship within Unions which reflect the diversity, equity and inclusion of America’s workforce. CCandbooks looks forward to the Young Workers Leadership Conference this June.
