Detroit, Michigan April 26, 2024 – Charles Collectibles and Books LLC was honored to have been selected as participant in the NFL Draft Event Marketplace at Detroit’s Historic Eastern Market. Market Manager Lonni Thomas and her staff wanted to give small and minority businesses an opportunity to take advantage of this once-in-a-lifetime economic boom. As the City of Detroit broke an NFL attendance record of 750,000 fans visiting the NFL Draft Road Show since 2017, a primary vision was to involve local small and minority businesses in this three-day fan friendly and interactive extravaganza.

Former Detroit Lions player Andre Fluellen stopped by CCandBooks to show his support for literacy and to purchase books for his family. As the Owner and CEO of Charles Collectibles and Books LLC aka CCandBooks, I had an opportunity to participate in several draft event activities as an NFL fan. The chance to have my picture taken as an NFL Draft Pick on a trading card was priceless.
