November 3rd and 4th 2023 – Perdue University Northwest Campus at Westville, Indiana hosted The NAACP Statewide Conference for the Michigan City, Indiana Chapter of the NAACP. Charles Collectibles and Books was honored to continue our partnership and support of the NAACP of Indiana.

One of the panel discussions was the banning of African American Books throughout the United States and specifically various conservative school districts within Indiana. More than 100 members including youth from Michigan City, Indiana gathered to discuss various topics like banned books, voting rights, jobs, criminal justice reform and social justice reform.

Attendees of the conference selected from a wide array of books from Pre-K to adult from Charles Collectibles and Books LLC.
